PREVIEW – CIV ROUND 6, SKY Junior Team VR46 #RMU
SKY JUNIOR TEAM VR46 #RMU IS READY FOR THE LAST ROUND OF THE ITALIAN CIV CHAMPIONSHIP 2019. BARTOLINI AND BARTALESI ON THE TRACK AT VALLELUNGA FOR THE LAST TWO RACES
Reggio Emilia, 2 October 2019 – Less than two weeks after the last appointment, Sky Junior Team VR46 #RMU is heading towards Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga where the sixth and final round of the 2019 Italian CIV Championship will be held. Riders Elia Bartolini and Lorenzo Bartalesi are ready to return to the track for the usual double appointment, on 5 and 6 October.
In the previous round at Mugello Circuit, both riders had a good Race 2 in the wet, finishing in fifth (Bartolini) and sixth (Bartalesi) position. Race 1 ended with a first place for Bartolini following Red flag, then subsequently disqualified for the application of a new regulation regarding the timing of return to the parc fermée following a fall. Bartalesi concluded in eighth place.
Sky Junior team VR46 #RMU missed the appointment with the official tests scheduled at Vallelunga at the beginning of September due to the correspondence with the San Marino GP, but both riders continued with their physical and technical training program.
The program of the sixth round begins with three Free Practice sessions on Thursday 3. Friday 4 Official Free Practice at 11.10am, in the afternoon Qualifying 1 at 4.05pm. The Qualifying 2 round will take place on Saturday 5 at 10am and then Race 1 at 1.25pm Sunday 6, after the Warm Up of the morning, Race 2 is scheduled at 2.30pm.
