PREVIEW – CIV ROUND 3, SKY Junior Team VR46 #RMU
AFTER TWO MONTHS, ITALIAN CIV CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS. ELIA BARTOLINI AND LORENZO BARTALESI READY TO GO BACK ON THE TRACK AT IMOLA’S AUTODROMO, WHERE THE PREVIOUS TEST HAS MET POSITIVE RESPONSE
Reggio Emilia, 26 June 2019 – Sky Junior Team VR46 #RMU is heading towards Imola where the third round of CIV Championship 2019 will take place. After long break, riders Elia Bartolini and Lorenzo Bartalesi are ready to get back on track for the usual double appointment, on 29 and 30 June.
In the previous round, at Mugello Circuit, Bartolini had concluded Race 1 with a good 6th place, while Bartalesi, in full recovery from his collarbone and tibia injury, had finished in 12th position. Race 2 finished with two slips on the wet track when riders were third and second.
Good feelings from the CIV tests held in Imola on June 9, which confirm the good work done. Positive time results: 1.59.7 for Bartolini (Elia) and 2.00.5 for Bartalesi (Lorenzo). Several red flags and frequent interruptions conditioned the tests, which unfortunately reduced the number of laps done.
The program of the third round does not include the free practice sessions on Thursday; the only one is scheduled for Friday 28 at 11am, in the afternoon Qualifying 1 at 4.30pm. On Saturday 29 at 10am the second qualifying round will take place and then Race 1 at 1.35 pm. Sunday 30 Race 2 is scheduled at 2.30pm.
